About Rofo Rewards


By registering a RoFo Rewards card or downloading our app Apple | Android, you gain access to special member offers and can earn rewards points on purchases. Every time you visit Royal Farms and make a purchase, you'll receive 5 points for every dollar you spend, and one point for every gallon of gas you purchase. If you upgrade your card to Rofo Pay, you will also receive a discount on gas when you use your RoFo Rewards card to pay at the pump except for New Jersey Stores. You can keep track of points and offers at www.royalfarms.com/rewards or by downloading the RoFo Rewards app on your phone Apple | Android.
Your information is protected in a secure data center and will not be disclosed to any outside party. If a payment card, RoFo Rewards card is issued and protected by ZipLine® (NPCA). They operate under the rules and regulations of the Federal Reserve's Automated Clearing House.

Joining the Program


The app can be downloaded at the Apple and Google Play store here (attach links to Apple and Google Play wording). You can register your Rofo Rewards account with a physical card or with a digital card. Before you can upgrade your card to Rofo Pay (fuel discount), you will need to sign into your account and update your card number from a digital to a physical card. You can also visit https://rofo-rewards.royalfarms.com/ and register your physical card here.
The app can be downloaded at the Apple and Google Play store by clicking on these links Apple | Android. You can also pick up a physical card at any of our Royal Farms Locations.
The RoFo Rewards program is free to join.
You do not need these to join Rofo Rewards. To upgrade your card to Rofo Pay (fuel discount in all states but New Jersey), you will need a valid driver's license and a checking account. Upgrading your card to Rofo Pay is optional.

The RoFo Rewards program is open to individuals only currently.
Yes! Upgrading your card to RofoPay (fuel discount) is completely optional. If you do not wish to tie the Rofo Rewards card to your checking account, you can still use the card or app to earn and redeem points and clubs.
Once you have enrolled, the information that you provided will undergo a bank validation process. This process could take up to (3) business days after the enrollment date, but you could also be approved that day. If additional information is needed, you will be notified of the activation step and program details through subsequent email messages. You are responsible for completing the bank verification step to activate the payment function. This step requires you to confirm two small test transactions that we post to your account for verification purposes.
ZipLine validates your enrolled bank account information to ensure that we have the correct account number, the account is open, and most importantly that the account belongs to YOU. We do so by submitting a deposit and withdrawal to your bank account. These "challenge" transactions are a test to confirm the validity of the account. The enrolled payment card account is not activated until this bank verification process is completed. You must confirm these two amounts once they appear in your account before you are qualified to get the fuel discount. A "verification" email will be sent to you, upon enrollment, which explains this activation process.

My Account


You cannot have more than one card linked to your account. Each account holder will need to create their own account with their own information. Linking the same bank account to the new card is allowed. Simply enter the same banking information for that new card.
Yes, you can. Once the new account is registered for Rofo Rewards, select 'Upgrade to RofoPay' From there, you will enter the same banking information that is tied to the existing account.
Sign into your account on your app or on our website https://rofo-rewards.royalfarms.com/ . Click card lost or stolen. If you do not have a new physical card, you will temporarily be assigned a digital card. Digital cards cannot be used to get the fuel discount, so if you would like to continue to get a fuel discount, please pick up a card and sign back into your account to update the lost/stolen digital card with this physical new card information.
You may change your PIN by logging into the RofoPay member site at myzipline.biz/royalfarms. Once you log in, you will need to click on your card number, then select the "Update My PIN" option. If you forgot your current PIN, then click on "Forgot PIN?" and follow the directions to reset your PIN to whatever new PIN you want.
You may perform a bank update from the Zipline member site if you have NO pending transactions on the card, so the overdraft fee will need to be addressed first. Once you have cleared that step, you can login log in to www.myzipline.biz and click on your card number (to right of screen). A new screen will appear. Click on Update Bank Information from top options. Once you update, you will need to verify our small test transactions that we submit to the new account in order to reactivate. You will receive an email with these instructions. You may also call Zipline to perform the update at 877-403-2222.
When you get to the pump, select YES to pay with your card, enter your pin, and see the pump rollback instantly. For the first 30 days, you'll save 25 cents on every gallon of gas you purchase using Rofo Pay. After the initial period, you'll enjoy savings of 10 cents per gallon.
There are three different ways you can check on your points and club balance.
  1. The easiest way to keep track of your points and clubs in real time is to download our app. The points and clubs are displayed on the home screen. The links for Apple | Android apps are included here.

  3. Lastly, points and clubs will appear at the bottom of your receipt after transactions.

Under law, we are unable to give customers a fuel discount at our New Jersey stores. If you register your card for Rofo Pay, you are eligible to receive a fuel discount at our MD, PA, DE, WV, and VA stores.
Tobacco offers are only displayed in the app. Please visit settings to turn on tobacco offers. Visit offers page and turn on the blue tobacco banner at the top of the screen. You will be prompted to walk through the one-time age verification process. Once you are age verified, the tobacco offers will be viewable to you for redemption.

About Points, Clubs, and Other Offers


App users will get 400 points added to their account on the day of their birthday.
There are exclusive tobacco offers available in the app for those that are 21+. For those that do not yet have the app, download the app on Apple Store and Google Play Apple | Android. After the app is downloaded, go to the top banner on the home screen and scroll to find the blue banner that says "Tobacco Offers". From here, you will walk-through one-time age verification process. Once verified, you will choose your state and the applicable tobacco offers will appear on your screen to redeem.
You can see what your points can be used for by visiting your Rofo Rewards mobile app Apple | Android or at www.royalfarms.com/rewards and scrolling down to offers and clubs.
At this time, your points will not expire. In the future, we are going to be implementing a points expiration policy. We will make sure to give our customers sufficient notice. Please use your points accordingly!

RofoPay is a secure and convenient way to pay at Royal Farms locations. It is one of the many benefits of our Rofo Rewards program. By upgrading your Rofo Rewards to RofoPay, you will get 25 cents off per gallon for the first 30 days and 10 cents per gallon after that.
Your security is our priority. To ensure your protection, Rofo Pay is managed by ZipLine, a leading private label debit processor employing state of the art firewall and other comprehensive security methods in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Federal Reserve. All personal data is encrypted in real time, and every transaction is PIN protected. ZipLine monitors and limits exposure to fraud, so you'll never be held liable for unauthorized transactions on your ROFO Pay account.
ZipLine (NPCA) has technology that enables you to link your checking account and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with your Rofo Pay account so you can pay for goods and services at participating merchants' businesses. Once you activate your account, you may use your card or mobile app (where applicable) as your method of payment. An ACH debit transaction, for your total transaction amount, will be submitted to your bank account within the next three (3) business days.

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network is a highly reliable and efficient nationwide batch-oriented electronic funds transfer system governed by the NACHA Operating Rules that provide for the interbank clearing of electronic payments for participating depository financial institutions. The Federal Reserve and Electronic Payments Network act as ACH Operators, central clearing facilities through which financial institutions transmit or receive ACH transaction entries.

An ACH debit is also known as an electronic check transaction. There is a slight delay in processing these types of transactions to bank accounts. Think of it as writing a check, but it happens electronically. These types of transactions typically take 1 - 3 business days to post to your bank account.
    Examples of ACH payments include:
  1. Direct deposit of payroll, tax refunds, Social Security and other government benefits
  2. Direct payment of consumer bills such as mortgages, loans, utility bills and insurance premiums
  3. Business-to-business payments
  4. E-checks

Debit cards and credit cards are forms of payment that carry large merchant fees from the banking and credit card industry. These charges are transparent to the consumer. However, these charges limit the ability of the merchant to pass rewards directly to you. The payment card program allows merchants to pay lower processing fees for these ACH transactions which enable them to reward you.
When you choose to use this form of payment, the merchant is able to pass the rewards to you. Retailers operate on low margins and a high cost of their operation is the credit/debit card merchant fees. When you use a credit/debit card at the station, the merchant pays about 2% of the amount you spend to the credit/debit card company. That is expensive for the retailer.

Since most gas stations are not equipped with the technology to accept a check, and consumers are not carrying checks when they go to the station, payment by check is not practical. However, in essence, the ACH payment account is an electronic check which you authorize to electronically debit your bank account.

The retailers would rather reward you directly than pay the higher cost to the credit/debit card companies. It is a WIN/WIN for both you and the retailer at whose business the transaction and the exchange of goods takes place.
Depending on the merchant, you may be eligible for an additional reward upon enrolling in the program. The enrollment bonus period starts when you enroll in the program so it is best to verify and activate your account as quickly as possible. You will receive your normal rollback discount at the pump; however, the promotional discount will be awarded at the time that we submit the debit to your account.

No. The User ID/PIN that you select can be any 4-digit number and does not have to be the same account as the current PIN that you use with your ATM or web ID to your bank account. It is important to remember your PIN in order to use this method of payment.
Currently, there is not an enrollment fee and we do not charge a fee to the consumer for the use of the rewards or payment programs. Your payment account may be subject to an annual maintenance fee which would be properly disclosed at enrollment and/or prior to any fee amount being debited from your bank account. Also, your bank may charge fees relating to the ACH withdrawal of money from your checking account. Check with your bank for specific details. We do, however, charge a Return Fee in the event that your bank returns a transaction unpaid. For this reason, we recommend that you have Overdraft Protection on the account used for your payment card transactions to potentially avoid additional return fees.
Most banks do not charge for ACH transactions submitted to a CHECKING account. This is the same method that is currently used for paying mortgage payments, car payments and any authorized debits from your bank account. It is possible that some banks may charge a monthly fee for such services so please check with your bank for details. Charges will apply from your bank and from ZipLine if your transaction is returned as unpaid (NSF, Account Closed/Frozen, etc.). Our return fee will be the maximum amount permissible by state law. This fee is separate from any fees that your bank may impose for such returns. We recommend that you have Overdraft Protection on the account used for your payment card account transactions.
First, you should not conduct a transaction if you are aware that you do not have sufficient funds to cover the face amount of the transaction. If you do, the transaction will be returned by your bank and your payment program will be deactivated until you make good on your purchase. Returned transactions also result in a "Return Fee" permissible by state laws. ZipLine, or their assigned agents, will try to electronically collect the face amount of the transaction and the associated Return Fee on two attempts. In the event that the company cannot collect through normal electronic means, your account will be flagged and referred to a collection service and your membership may be cancelled. We recommend that you have Overdraft Protection on the account used for your payment card account transactions to avoid additional return fees. By having Overdraft Protection with your bank, you may avoid our fees for any returned transactions.

How do I get the Tobacco Offers?

There are tobacco coupons are available on the app. Download the app via the App Store or Google Play today to get the discount. After you download the Rofo Rewards app, go to the top banner on the home screen and scroll to find the blue banner that says "Tobacco Offers". Click on this banner and it will take you to the Altria site where you will create an account and a pin. Once you have completed these steps, you can get great deals on your favorite tobacco brands, for example - "Save $1.50 on a pack of "insert favorite tobacco brand here"" when you bring your Rofo Rewards app to the register and have your cashier scan your coupon.
